A flow meter (or a flow sensor) is an instrument that is used to indicate the amount of liquid, gas, or vapor moving through a pipe or conduit by measuring linear, non-linear, mass, or volumetric flow rates. Since flow control is often essential, measuring the flow of liquids and gasses is a critical need for many industrial applications – and there are many different types of flow meters that can be utilized depending on the nature of the application.
Gear Flow Meters
The ZHM MK gear flow meter (ball bearing design) are flow meters that are mainly used in lubrication and low-viscous liquids. Therefore they are used especially for fuel consumption measurement and the dosing of low viscous media.
Coriolis Mass Flow Meters
The TCM “CLASSIC” series of Coriolis Mass Flow Meters meets general industrial requirements with out-of-the-box ease of use. Lower cost and lower performance specs meet broader application needs. Typically used in paint, coatings and dosing of non-corrosive fluid requiring 0.3% accuracy and low to zero maintenance.
Turbine Flow Meters
The HM F turbine flow meter series (F for flange connections) is used to measure continuous and discontinuous flow rates. They are mainly used for lubrication and non-lubrication media. They are particularly suitable for low and medium-viscosity liquids, such as water, emulsions, glycol mixtures, and light oils.
Helical Flow Meters
SRZ ST Series
The SRZ ST helical flow meter series (tungsten carbide sleeve bearing design) are flow-measuring devices that are used mainly in high-viscosity, abrasive, filled as well as lubrication and non-lubrication media. These include polyurethane, polymers and viscous products, as well as all kinds of greases and oils.
Micro Flow Meters
The LFM micro-flowmeter is suitable for low-viscosity fluids in dosing and filling applications of all kinds. Its measuring element is based on the principle of a double ring piston meter. Thanks to the low pendulum mass and minimal frictional losses, the LFM responds to even the smallest volume flows.
DXN Portable Hybrid Ultrasonic Flow Meters
The Dynasonics® DXN Portable Hybrid Ultrasonic flow meter is a powerful tool used for troubleshooting flow issues, whether you want to quickly verify the flow reading of another meter or to data log flow system values over an extended period of time.
The Innova-Switch™ is state-of-the-art in gaseous and liquid flow switching or liquid level control. Flow or level detection is accomplished by using a high-resolution thermal differential technique. The sensor wetted parts are of durable 316L series stainless steel, all welded construction with

EPM-2 IND Standard Series
The Badger Meter EPM-2 oval gear meter is designed to dispense motor oil (SAE 5 to 50), gear oil (SAE 80 to 240), automatic transmission fluid, antifreeze (ethylene glycol) solution, and hydraulic fluid. The preset feature will allow users to perform other service tasks while fluid is dispensed.
The Industrial Oval Gear Meter, Model IOG is a modular flow meter design, economical yet highly accurate and rugged. The model IOG is designed for a variety of chemical applications including petroleum based fluids, water solutions and any other liquid compatible with the materials of construction.
The most common primary flow element is the concentric orifice plate, often called the “sharp-edged” orifice plate. Its main advantages are: low cost, accuracy, ease of installation, variety of construction material and quick delivery.
Meriam LFEs are excellent for measuring low gas flow rates from 0.2 SCCM up to 2250 SCFM. They are inherently accurate and repeatable and are calibrated traceable to NIST. Flow turndown s 20:1 or better and the differential pressure generated is nearly linear to flow. This combination makes an LFE a great choice for gas flow measurement.
Series 22L / 23L
The Accutube Series 22L Probe is constructed of 316LSS cast head and 316LSS probe. The Series 22L Probe has single-mounted support and installs through a single packing gland and thredolet. The Series 22L Accutube is factory-fitted with 1/2" NPT connections and is shipped with mounting hardware complete. Series 22L Accutubes are available for line sizes 2" through 42".
Series 24D / 25D
Accutube averaging pitot tubes are primary flow elements that develop a differential pressure in response to the flow rate through a pipe or duct. These square root type elements are excellent for measuring the flow rate of gases, steam and liquids. Chief advantages over other flow elements include relatively low purchase price, low installation cost, and low permanent pressure.
